Projects
Here are a selection of my recent projects. Head over to my social media pages @organisewithjo for more.

Children's Wardrobe
This client wanted help sorting out her twin girl's wardrobe. The girls had outgrown a lot of their clothes and the storage space was cluttered and disorganised.

Together we cleared out 3-4 bin bags worth of clothing and accessories, re-homed items which didn't belong in the space, and organised the wardrobe to work for the girls and mum alike.
Wardrobe Declutter
This client got in touch when she decided she'd had enough of her cluttered and messy wardrobe. Together we removed 5 bags worth of clothing and accessories leaving her with only the clothes she loves and wears regularly.

She has continued to work through her clothing in other areas using the tips I taught her.

Children's Playroom
This client got in touch as she was fed up of constantly tidying her son's playroom. At first she just wanted a better organising system. What we actually ended up doing was having a big declutter first. There were lots of books and toys which the boys had either grown out of or just didn't use. By drastically reducing the amount of toys and books, it is much easier to find a home for everything.
It would have been very tempting to go overboard with the organisation here - categorising everything for example - but that would just not be sustainable. Just having a general home for things makes tidying up much easier for her and the boys.
Wardrobe
This client had recently moved home. After travelling, university, and a number of house moves, this is the first time all of her belongings have been in one place.

We started by going through all the bags and boxes of clothes and taking out anything which she no longer wanted - these items went to charity or to be sold. We then took out all the summer clothes (this project was done in winter) and put them in a box in the loft storage. It was then a matter of putting things into the wardrobes or drawers. Once they became full, we applied the one-in-one-out rule meaning she only kept the clothes she really loves.

Already she is finding it much easier to find the clothes she wants and putting clothes away is simple too. It also means she is less likely to buy new clothes as she feels she has a brand new wardrobe.
